50 Visionaries: The Mary McMillan Lectures, Vol. 6

The six-volume series "50 Visionaries: The Mary McMillan Lectures" is a compilation of every Mary McMillan Lecture given since it was first awarded in 1964, through the 50th lecture presented in 2019. Recipients of the Mary McMillan Lecture Award are selected based on their distinguished contributions to the profession of physical therapy in the areas of administration, education, patient care, or research. The Mary McMillan Lecture Award was established in 1963 to pay tribute to Mary McMillan (deceased 1959), a dedicated pioneer of physical therapy in the United States and abroad, the founding president of what now is the American Physical Therapy Association, and an esteemed teacher. Each volume includes the lectures' full text, along with photos and biographies of the lecturers. Vol. 6 includes lectures given during the 2010s, as they originally appeared in the association's journal. Volume 6 = 172 pages
